![]() Kaley McNay is the perfect role model for those trying to balance a career on land with a passion for riding a wake. As a 28 year-old Regulatory Coordinator, she knows the pain of being in an office when the opportunity to ride arises. She’s representing the BabeShredder lifestyle in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. At an early age she was competing in trick skiing competitions. It was the roots of her life on the water until she discovered wakeboarding. She says, “riding has taught me to always set new goals for myself and push myself outside of my comfort zone.” Kaley is an empowering coach as well. She volunteers at the Wake the World Event, providing foster children with the chance to enjoy water sports. She says, “once you try it, you will most likely love it, so when you get the opportunity to try wakeboarding make sure you take it.” She encourages everyone she comes in contact with to give wakeboarding a try, and helps coach them whenever she is on the water. If you want to see Kaley shred, she’ll be competing in the Washington INT State Championships on August 23rd and 24th. She plans to battle her way to the podium by throwing her tantrum and other tricks she has been working on throughout the summer. Hear more about Kaley by visiting her profile here.
