BabeShredder Spotlight: Sarah Kerr

Meet Sarah

Sarah Kerr is a gnarly 22 year-old from Bundalong in Victoria, Australia. She was born to wakeboard, since her house lies 500 meters down the road of the best wakeboarding destination on planet Earth. Time spent there would lead to a sponsorship with CWB, which helps her get other girls excited to wakeboard. During most days she’s working as a nurse, which is quite the opposite of hucking backrolls and tantrums. Her inspiration to wakeboard and wakesurf comes from other pro women riders. Like them, she encourages everybody to try it, and is always offering helpful tips. Most wakeboarders and wakesurfers struggle to keep up to date with two things: the trick list, and the boat payments. Here’s her advice, “Don’t stress about trying to get better or be better, it will all come with practice. If you stress about it too much, it will take all the enjoyment away.” These days she’s in Bali just riding for fun. She will be coming back next season ready to compete!
