Snowskating isn't a new concept. Yes, you heard that right. Snowskating. Essentially skateboarding on snow, snowskating traces its roots back to the 1970's. Originally sold as a toy or snowboard without bindings, snowskates have come a long way in their innovation and production.
Babe Shredder Tahoe took to the snow on St. Patrick's Day for their first ever Hovland snowskates demo at Mt. Rose. Even Babe Shredder Founder, Ash rode a snowskate for her first time. "It was so refreshing to be on the snow and have absolutely no idea what I was doing!" she recalls. Babe Shredders took turns trying out different Hovland decks and encouraging one another to inch steeper and steeper up the mountain for a longer ride. Another Tahoe Babe Shredder mentioned, "it was challenging to try something different but we did it together and that was the best part!" By Ash Hannig
