How I got started
"You would think having grown up in the land of 10,000 lakes (Minnesota) that I would have been introduced to the sport at an early age. Rather, I nerded out throughout my childhood with acting, singing, piano, volleyball, and I even joined the speech team. It wasn't until my 3rd year in college that wakeboarding took on a top priority. I joined the ASU Wake Devils and had a family of 40 encouraging me on my riding."
"Bob Marley has always been an inspiration to my goals, riding and way of life. No matter how negative a situation, there is always a positive. Even when I'm riding and feeling a little off on landing tricks, I've learned to simply be happy that I have the opportunity to be on a wakeboard today. That right there is enough for me."
"My focus is on inspiring and motivating other girls to get out there and ride. I founded BabeShredder with the mission to change the female scene across all board sports, to gain positive momentum behind females shredding and bring down the saying, "she is pretty good . . .for a girl."
